The Fairy Tale REVAMPED is going to be remade. There are some technical reasons for this.

The new engine I use for this doesn't need a launcher so the start up screens will have to be replaced.
This is the new language selection screen.

I really think that hat on the Dutch icon needs a little makeover (well, that's the wonderful thing about layer based drawing programs we use today. We didn't have those in the past, and that hat is a layer on its own). 

This remake will other than the startup screen be as close to the original game as possible, although on some tiny points some differences can be done based on the technical backgrounds of my new engine.

For the time being the original version will be downloadable here on itch.io. When the time comes the closed alpha is ready for testing the original downloads will likely be removed, and when the new version is stable enough, that version will be uploaded in stead.
Important note, savegames will not be compatible with each other due to some very vital differences between the original LAURA II engine and the new Apollo engine.  If it will be possible to copy some basis data, or at least enable to unlock the New Game+ for when you got far enough in the original (the New Game+ has extra content that contains spoilers if you didn't yet see the story of the original game, so this is very important) is something I'm still investigating. Such a tool will likely be developed separately, though.
