Just an update on the current situation

Things may look calm and quiet on the surface, but that's because I am not really good in public logs and I prefer to put my time in my products. Of course, since a little PR is also important, I guess a little update is in order.

The current development version is now playable till halfway chapter 2 (out of 4 chapters the full game will have). As usual a lot of issues come up, which is only normal, because A> RPGs are more complicated to develop than they look and B> Luna's Father is the very first full project I am doing with my new interpreter. It should only be expected this brings some complications.

The game is at least taking shape now, and if you check the game's repository on Github, you will see updates almost every day. If you are interested to alpha test the game you may get access to the my test lab, where the alpha version is updated almost every day.

I also tried to take a few things from a different perspective than I did with The Fairy Tale, Secrets of Dyrt and Star Story I and II. This does make the setup and balancing a lot harder, but in the same time it does offer some new insights both for me  as a developer, but I think it also may require the player to think a little bit different on some occasions. Trying not to stray away too much from the original concept, yet trying to offer something new is always one of my core challenges in every RPG I create.

I am also in the final stage of preparing my newest fantasy novel (written in the Dutch language)  "Slyvina" for publication and the final editing is always something that gets to me, as it's loads of work and that can slow down the work on this game.

And so far, my little rant.
Things may seem quiet, but things are in motion backstage. 😉
