STAR KILL

STAR KILL is just a cute space shooter game for DOS.

The challenge for me was to see if I still had it in me to make a game without any graphics at all, but to use characters in stead, just as in the good old days when gaming on IBM compatible PCs (or the MS-DOS machines) began. The game is therefore entirely displayed in characters only, and music and sound effects also use the "internal speaker". All this is perfectly emulated by DOSBox, which you also need to run this game. 

The game was written in Turbo Pascal 7.0 and the source code has been released under the terms of the GPL and is accessible through GitHub.
